| Notes | [Note attached to register reads:] The undersigned do hereby certify that William Mc Call, of the parish of Liverpool, Labourer, and Mary Donley of the same parish, Widow, were married by me after publication of banns in the church of St. John, in the parish aforesaid, on the 3rd day of May 1830 - and that after the puboication and marriage aforesaid, it came to my knowledge, that the said William Mc Call and Mary Donley, through their own mistake, as appeared by their own declaration in the presence of the persons, whose names are hereafter subjoined, that the said Mary Donley had been both published and married in her maiden name Donley instead of her widow name Mc Graeme - and farther that the said mistake had originated from the circumstance of her being called indifferently by the names of Donley and Mc Graeme, and also from the circumstance of the said William Mc Call and Mary Donley, supposing they had acted correctly in using her maiden name on the above mentioned occasion instead of her Widow name. We, the undersigned, do hereby declare that we were present at the marriage of William Mc Call and Mary Donley, on the 3rd day of May 1830, in the church of St. John, in the parish of Liverpool - and that the said Mary Donley had to her knowledge been called indifferently by the names of Donley and Mc Graeme, and believe that the mistake of her having been published and married in the name of Donley her maiden name, instead of Mc Graeme her widow name, had happened entirely through the ignorance of the parties themselves, supposing they wee thereby acting correctly.
