| Notes | [Note appended to page 48 of the Bishop's Transcripts for 1793 reads:] Memorandum: That in the Register of Baptisms in the Church of St. James, Toxteth Park, in the Parish of Walton, County of Lancaster Mary, daughter of William Musgrove (Book keeper) & Mary his wife, born July 20th 1790 and baptized August 22nd 1790, was registered Margaret instead of Mary through error of the Clerk, which was not discovered 'till the copy of the Register was transmitted to Chester; and that a reference is made in the Register accordingly. Witness our hands this May 30th 1793 - Wm. Wise Minister; Wm. Siddall, Jas. Robinson, Church Wardens; W. Musgrove, father of the above mentioned Mary Musgrove. |
